With cooler temperatures, a big crowd came out to enjoy some of the best racing of the season.
The last Sprint Car points race of the season was a wild affair with Chadd Noland winning the race, and the war…the 2010 Sprint Championship. Vern Wheeler won the Sprint Trophy Dash going away. Garen Linder took second in the A-main with Vern Wheeler right behind and T.J. Winningham in fourth.
In the Modified class Fort Jones, California resident, Travis Peery, took a convincing win in the Modified Trophy Dash. The A-Main was a 25-lap affair with the winner and runner-up both finishing the race with flat right rear tires. Dr. Scotty Lenz prevailed over Travis Peery, Mark Wauge and Matt Duste.
The 25-lap Dwarf Car A-main had some interesting drivers. Former Dwarf champion, Jon DeBenedetti took the wheel as well as former Modified driver Mike “Zues” Johnson. With only one yellow during the event, Kelly Guches took the win in a battle with R.J. McGahuey and Ryan Smith.
Super 4’s, was complete with 3 lady drivers in the 12-car field, plus a husband and wife team. In a green, white, checkered finish, the win went to Brian Johnsen over Krista Hadley and Joe Guider.
Thirteen Mini Stocks started the 20-lap A-Main. With just two yellow flags, Toby Judd prevailed over Bob Burkett, with Josh Bratton in third.
